Sunday, June 24, 2001-Winchester, Virginia

We got up about 5:30, showered, had breakfast at Hampton Inn and left about 6:30.  We drove through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.  Traffic was heavier today, especially when crossing the Hudson River.  We thought that we saw the skyline of New York City when  we crossed the Hudson River.  When we got to the motel in Westport, Massachusetts, Sue called her Mother.  She has been having trouble with her hands for a year.  Dr. Sodhi sent Mother to a specialist who said Mother has carpal tunnel syndrome and needs surgery.
