Saturday, June 23, 2001-Marietta, Georgia

We left home at 7:15.  We stopped for breakfast at Cracker Barrel in South Carolina about 9:00.  We drove all day through Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.  We crossed the Blue Ridge Parkway several times.  In Virginia, we drove parallel to Shenandoah National Park.  The scenery was beautiful.  We saw wildflowers growing in the median of the interstate.  We stopped at Hampton Inn in Westchester, Virginia.  We ate dinner at Pargo's, a restaurant across the street from the motel.
